At our Bambinos Day Nursery in Plymstock, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children from birth to five years feel happy, safe, and secure.

Our dedicated team creates exciting, hands-on experiences that will support your child’s growth through play and exploration, helping them develop essential social and cognitive skills like problem-solving, self-regulation, and resilience.

Our spacious outdoor area includes a climbing frame, slide, mud kitchen, and cosy covered hut for storytelling or quiet time. Younger children enjoy a separate garden with a teepee, giving them the perfect space to discover.

Engaging activities like scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and mark-making inspire exploration, while extra-curricular options include Spanish lessons, visits from Bugs Life, and fun baby boogie sessions led by our team.

The Nest (birth to 1 year)

The Nest is a calm and nurturing space where your child will feel safe and cared for.

Their key person will support them at all times, focusing on developmental milestones like raising their head, rolling over, and sitting unaided.

Your child will also learn early social communication skills through songs, games, and nursery rhymes, and will benefit from calming massages and spa sessions.

We aim for your child to be able to use the pincer grip (picking up objects using their thumb and forefinger) by the time they leave The Nest, so we provide lots of activities that enhance their manual dexterity, as well as their overall physical development.

Mark-making stations foster early writing skills, while the small world area inspires imaginative play with toys like cars, dinosaurs, and blocks. The cosy book corner is perfect for quiet moments, and regular yoga sessions introduce mindfulness.

Through activities that promote creativity, turn-taking, and self-regulation, your child develops essential life skills in an exciting and engaging environment.
