At Bambinos Day Nursery in Woolwell we provide a supportive and engaging environment, where children from birth to five years feel valued and secure.
This gives your child the confidence to develop their all-important personal, social and emotional skills. Guided by our experienced practitioners, they will learn to understand their behaviour, regulate their emotions and build positive relationships with others. These skills form the foundation for your child’s development in all other areas, which we support with a range of engaging resources and play-based activities.
Our outdoor spaces cater to all ages, with a dedicated area for under-twos featuring a mud kitchen, teepee, and seesaw, alongside a larger shared space with a climbing frame, slide, and bike track.
We offer an inclusive environment, enriched by Makaton-trained staff who provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
In The Nest, our cosy baby room at Woolwell, we focus on creating a calm, loving environment where babies can feel safe, secure, and connected. Every child has their own treasure box – a personalised collection filled with comforting items that help them feel at home. Each box includes photos of their key person, a special item from home such as a teddy or favourite book, a picture of themselves, and photos of their family. These familiar objects support emotional wellbeing, especially during times of transition, and help to build strong, trusting relationships between your child and their key person.

The Nest (Birth to 2 years)
The Nest provides a perfect balance between relaxation and stimulation. It is a nurturing space where your child’s all-round development is fully supported through access to a range of engaging activities and resources.
Through group sessions and one-to-one interaction with their key person, your child will have ample opportunity to practice their early social and communication skills as we love to sing, share nursery rhymes and play games.
We now offer Sing and Sign sessions, a wonderful way to support early communication while deepening the bond between your child and their key person through music, rhythm, and connection.

We also have an extension room called The Retreat, which is a creative space where your child can engage in a variety of mark-making and clay-making activities, providing inspiration for artistic exploration and development.

This includes a fabulous home corner to develop their imagination and encourage socialisation and communication, and a cosy corner, equipped with song bags, story sacks, and a variety of books, to enhance their communication skills and foster an early love for literature.
If your child enjoys building, our large construction area, with various transport vehicles and visual reference pictures, will enrich their play and learning.
Meet Melissa Williams: Nursery Manager
“My journey with Bambinos began 15 years ago as an apprentice. Over the last decade and a half, I have been proud to grow alongside the company, progressing from my Level 2 and 3 qualifications into Senior and Deputy roles, and eventually completing my NVQ Level 5 to become a Manager.
Having developed through almost every role in the nursery, I have a deep understanding of what makes a child’s experience truly special. My favourite part of being a manager is watching our children flourish and hit their milestones, while providing dedicated support to our families every step of the way.
As a proud mum of two boys myself, I understand exactly what parents are looking for when choosing a nursery. When I’m not at the nursery, I love heading out on family adventures and travelling to explore new cities.”
